Just a quick notice.
I only have limited details about the problem at this time. But, Netflix Streaming Media Services is down right now. The outage affects Windows Media Center, Roku Devices, Boxee and possibly other devices.
Another MVP (Who is under NDA with Netflix) has told me that Netflix is aware of the problem and is currently working on it, but don't expect anything to be resolved during the holiday weekend. :-(
If I get any more news, I will post it here. If you know of other devices that are affected, please add them in the comments!
Update: 7/1/11 2:15PM Eastern - Microsoft is also aware of the problem and is looking at it from their end to see if there's a workaround.
Update: 7/2/11 8:00AM Eastern - Netflix Streaming appears to be working again! If anyone hears different, please let me know.
